Here we have a tale of three little kittens – Mittens, Tom Kitten and Moppet – whom their mother, Mrs. Tabitha Twitchit, dresses in fine – but very stiff! – clothing, as she is expecting guests for tea. So they won't be underfoot while she is making toast, Mrs. Tabitha sends her offspring outside, where the combination of earth, kittens, and newly washed-frocks leads to several. . .adventures.
