The Charlotte Mason Educational Center Curriculum (The CMEC)

The CMEC is a nonprofit collaboration of parents and teachers dedicated to putting Charlotte Mason's principles into practice. Members benefit from a rich curriculum crafted to achieve the full feast of a Mason education, as well as thorough support materials and ongoing training alongside other families using the program. The curriculum is designed around "streams" of knowledge, building definite skills and knowledge in core areas from year to year, while also allowing those teaching multiple students to combine studies. Support is offered in the form of guides, webinars, self-paced online courses, and live monthly meetings, all oriented toward equipping parent-teachers with the "high thinking" that allows "plain living" day to day. The CMEC schedules dozens of books published by Yesterday's Classics each year and appreciates the careful attention and high quality that Yesterday's Classics brings to it reprints. .
