Rip van Winkle

One day, colonial villager Rip Van Winkle, to escape his shrewish wife by going hunting in the Catskill wilderness, sets off with his dog Wolf. On spotting a strange-looking man, dressed in old Dutch garb, carrying a keg up into the mountains, Rip follows him into the midst of a band of men, clad in old-fashioned suits, drinking and playing ninepins. After a night in their company he falls asleep, only to find when he awakens that his gunstock has rusted, his beard is a foot long, and his dog is gone. Follow Rip down into the village and experience all that has happened there in his absence!
